The groundbreaking ceremony of the Wenming intelligent artificial turf production base in Xinjiang, with an annual output of 20,000 tons of new green materials, was successfully held.

On the morning of May 18, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for Xinjiang Wenming Artificial Turf Co., Ltd., an intelligent manufacturing base with an annual output of 20,000 tons of new green materials, at the Qingshuihe Auxiliary Park in the Horgos Economic Development Zone. More than 50 guests, including Li Siyu, deputy secretary of the Party and Industry Committee and director of the Qingshuihe Auxiliary Park Management Committee, Yuan Yanan, member of the Party and Industry Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee, and Zhu Yexin, head of the Wuxi (Jiangyin) Relief Working Group, gathered at the site to witness this significant moment of industrial upgrading.

Xinjiang Wenming Artificial Turf Co., Ltd., a key investment project in the park, was founded in March 2024 with the strategic goal of “based in Xinjiang and covering Asia and Europe,” relying on the geographical advantages and political benefits of Horgos. The first phase of the project was put into operation in the same year, and the regulations were updated in the same year, becoming a benchmark enterprise for the high-quality development of the park. The total investment in the second phase of the pioneering project is 320 million yuan, covering an area of 100 acres, and the planned construction area is 78,700 square meters. After completion, it will launch a production facility with an annual output of 20,000 tons of environmentally friendly new materials to further improve the artificial turf industry, develop the industrial chain in the Northwest region, and promote the upgrading of the green intelligent manufacturing industry along the Belt and Road.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Li Siyu, Deputy Secretary of the Party and Industry Committee and Director of the Qingshuihe Support Park Management Committee, noted in his speech that the first phase of the Wenming Lawn project, which has been in operation for one year, has enabled the company to become an industry leader with high-quality products and cutting-edge technologies, providing a powerful boost to the park's economy. The launch of the second phase project not only marks a significant milestone in the development of enterprises but also marks a new starting point for the park's industrial diversification and economic takeoff. He emphasized that the park will continue to optimize its business environment, become a good "secondary enterprise," oversee the project's construction throughout the entire process, promptly resolve any blocking issues, and ensure the project's early completion, early commissioning, and efficient operation.

Zhu Yexin, head of the Wuxi (Jianyin) Huo aid working group, announced that the foundation stone laying ceremony for the project had officially begun. All the leaders then went to the groundbreaking site to jointly cultivate the soil for the project. Construction equipment was neatly arranged at the site, marking the official entry into the construction phase of this environmentally friendly, intelligent manufacturing base linking Asia and Europe.

Upon completion, the project will further enhance the park's production capacity in the field of new, environmentally friendly materials. Capitalizing on the advantages of the Khorgos Port, it will target markets in Central Asia and Europe. This is expected to create over 200 jobs and increase annual sales by over 500 million yuan. Qingshuihe Support Park will use this pioneering project as an opportunity to continue focusing on green manufacturing, cross-border industries, and other areas, attract more high-quality enterprises, and inject new impetus into high-quality economic development.
